The team here at the Boardriders Foundation are proud to have completed our 2019 Reveg Day, making it our twelfth year of showing our commitment to the environment.
Cottage By The Sea
For 11 years the Boardriders Foundation have collaborated with ‘Cottage By The Sea’ providing a fun day for youth.
Days like these contribute to restoring a child’s sense of self-worth, belonging and hope for the future, in order for their full potential as young adults.
11th Annual Revegetation Day
QUIKSILVER’S Boardriders Foundation in partnership with Torquay Landcare held their 11th annual “Revegetation Day” in November 2018, focusing on Bowman’s Track (Spring Creek region) for the sixth year running. With this mission in mind, the decision to work on Bowman’s track has been inspired by the rapid growth of urban development in the area and the recreational activities it has invited as a result.
100 Million Bottles Into Boardshorts
Over the next few years, our goal is to incorporate recycled plastic into every boardshort we make. Working towards that goal, a major milestone has been reached — Quiksilver has officially recycled 100 million bottles into boardshorts and other goods.
THE LORNE SURF SISTERS
The Lorne Surf Sisters are a group of passionate young girls aged between 7 and 12 who love surfing together and want to make a positive change to the world we live in. The Quiksilver Foundation proudly sponsors the Lorne Surf sisters, which allows them to focus raising money for the Refugee Migrant Children's Centre

Through the Cottage by the Sea, the Quiksilver Foundation also donates clothing to help families in need and support throughout the year.

TORQUAY 8TH ANNUAL REVEGETATION DAY
In September 2015 Quiksilver in collaboration with Torquay Landcare, held their 8th annual Revegetation Day. This year the focus was on the Spring Creek region in Torquay.
Mark Richards first visited Bali in 1981 for the Om Bali Pro held at Kuta Beach and back then there wasn’t really much going on except the locals doing what they do and the occasional surfer.

On the 9th May 2015 a group of 89 children supported St Vincent de Paul North Coast Settlement Services in New South Wales took to the ocean at Woolgoolga for a specially organised VEGEMITE SurfGroms program under the Surf for Life Project.
